All Nécessaire beauty / cosmetic products are cruelty-free and vegan. The Sex Gel is not a beauty product or a cosmetic. The Sex Gel is a Medical Class II Device as regulated by the FDA. The Sex Gel is designed for safe use inside the human body similar to other drugs and / or medical devices. As per FDA regulation, a one-time animal test was required for safety. This one-time test was conducted when the product was first introduced.

Why Is pH Level Mentioned On The Package?

During the formulation process we optimize the pH of the formula. We believe it directly impacts the safety and efficacy of the formula. The pH objective will vary based on product purpose. On the secondary packaging (carton) we provide a pH range. The reason pH range is indicated is that pH may vary during the manufacturing process and/or slightly change over time. Formulas that do not contain enough water will not have a pH listed.

    Best ever!

    On my third bottle and it continues to get more difficult to find. I know it was discontinued at one point and brought back...now it's out of stock! If someone knows where to get, I will pay! This stuff is really the only stuff that doesn't irritate and doesn't feel sticky icky after use.
